Help VUHS have a prom!

Hello ANWSD community!

I am reaching out on behalf of the Vergennes High School Prom Committee in hopes to raise money for needed materials. Unfortunately, because of unforeseen circumstances that COVID-19 presented to all high school students, this year's senior class was not able to have their junior prom. Along with many canceled events, most classes were not able to fundraise for future events like prom, graduation, and class merchandise.

As guidelines start to gradually lift in Vermont, the hope for a prom this year is looking brighter each day. It is a very touch-and-go process, but we have decided to turn to our community for help. We need to raise money to pay for a tent that prom can be held in. Prom must be held outside and without the cover of a tent, we risk the chance of the event getting canceled due to weather.

We appreciate all of the support the ANWSD community has given our classes in these tough times. Please, help our upperclassmen enjoy a fun, safe night that we have looked forward to our whole lives. Thank you for your time, donations, and support.
