I recently launched Vroom, a social media app originally built for car enthusiasts, but I quickly realized it’s much bigger than that. Vroom is designed to bring any niche community together in one place, combining the best parts of TikTok (short-form video feeds) and Reddit (forums and discussions) to let people share, learn, and connect around what they love.

To my surprise, Vroom took off overnight. Users are actively signing up, posting, and building communities while the app is still in development. It’s an amazing problem to have, but it’s pushed me past my current limits for server capacity and development resources.
