On 12/29 Volt was not himself, vomiting and uninterested in food. After taken to the ER we discovered he was bloating with intestinal torsion. The surgery was a success, however his recovery since then has not been smooth by any means. He has been eating minimal amounts and overall just not himself, despite normal blood work and X-rays following his surgery. Today he was taken back into the ER for emergency ultrasound to make sure everything was still looking okay. Unfortunately GI tract complications from the surgery were found and Volt is being rushed into emergency surgery. Shauna and Christian have been hit with a huge surgery and hospitalization bill (much larger than what I am putting for the gofundme amount), anything helps to ensure that we are able to bring Volt home. Please send Volty positive vibes for his surgery this evening (1/6) and that he has a smooth recovery⚡️

Volt is currently recovering from surgery, they finished at approximately 2am. The surgery was extensive but he is recovering well as of 9am. We are immensely thanking everyone who has already donated and raised so much in less than 24 hours❤️
