Help Vlad's Parents Witness His Big Moment

Fundraising for Vlad’s parents so they can attend the National Championship in Dallas, Texas with their son. We need funds for airline tickets, Uber rides, meals for 6 days and miscellaneous that they may need.

Congratulations to Vlad for being named the Alaska representative for the National Microsoft Office Competition that will be held in Dallas, TX. His family expressed their deepest appreciation for this opportunity.

“Following in his father’s footsteps, Vladyslav Melnyk completed his Microsoft Office Word Specialist certification this fall at Wasilla High School. Over the past three years, the Melnyk family has moved from Ukraine to Poland and, most recently, settled in Alaska. Each international move brought countless challenges, particularly with documents and legal processes, yet the family never wavered in their belief that education is a treasure that can never be taken away.

The United States has long been a refuge for talented individuals from around the world, offering them the opportunity to thrive and contribute to society. Vlad’s dedication and perseverance have earned him the title of Alaska state representative in the National Microsoft Office Competition in Dallas—an achievement that would not have been possible without the warm welcome and support he received in his new home.

The Melnyk family expresses their deepest gratitude to the U.S. government, President , the state of Alaska, Wasilla High School, and the dedicated teachers and staff who have provided not only an education but also a sense of stability and belonging.
