Help Vlad’s Battle with Pancreatic Cancer!

A dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and coach, Volodymyr Safronov has always gone above and beyond for every person in his life. However, a few weeks ago, Vlad received news that he has pancreatic cancer. Now, it is our turn to support Vlad in his battle against this horrible disease.

Whether you know Vlad as a friend, a coach, a coworker, or as family, you know that he lights up every room. His love for his wife Nelli, son Viktor, and grandchildren, Maxim and Sofia, is evident, as his family is the most important part of his life. Throughout his 24 years as a head coach at Mid Island Gymnastics, Vlad has touched the lives of hundreds of gymnasts, helping them earn countless titles and college scholarships.

Vlad always has a story to share that will brighten your day, or a saying to get you through tough times. He often tells his gymnasts that “they must be strong like a bull!”. We know that Vlad too will be strong like a bull throughout his fight with cancer.
