LET US HELP LITTLE ANGEL VLADYSLAV!

Hello everyone! We are Kaminnyi family – Vadym, Vika and little Vladyslav. Our story cannot leave you indifferent.

Our only son Vladyslav, for whom we had been yearning and waiting for so long, was born on February 25, 2021. He has grown like any normal child until he was 6 months old.

But after that, alarming signals began to appear and alert us, his parents. Vladyslav never began to sit, there was no support in his legs, and he got tired very quickly after active exercise. Continuous massage and exercise had no effect. Instead, the hand tremor appeared.

We passed all the necessary tests immediately. And on November 24, 2021, a terrible decease was diagnosed – spinal muscular atrophy (SMA). Because of it, the child becomes unable to sit, to hold his/her head up, and later - to swallow.

Our beloved boy is 9 months old today. We have waited for you for so long, son! God gave you to us... both big blessing and big ordeal...

I am writing this and crying... of happiness of having you, Vladyslav, and of distress that happened to you and us... I cannot believe it still... My motherly heart tears apart when I see you becoming weaker every day... But I promise you: we won’t give up! We will set you on your feet! You will live a normal, full-fledged life!

The cure exists. The decease can be overcome by medicine which is far too expensive for an ordinary family – 2.3 million USD.

The Ukrainian state does not provide any of the necessary medicine. We are begging for help of volunteers, donors and charities around the world to collect this enormous amount. The price of our son’s life is large, but we will manage if we join efforts!

The funds need to be raised as soon as possible, because the decease is progressing.
