Help Vlad recover to accomplish his purpose

I would like to present to you my brother Vladimir Castillo, Vlad, as family and friends know him. Unfortunately, he had a tragic motorcycle accident on September 4th, 2022, where he sustained a traumatic brain injury, arriving at the hospital in critical condition having severely injured his head, face, and the rest of his body. I remember the doctors telling our family that they weren’t sure of the extend of his condition and that only time would tell if he would survive the night. By God’s grace, he is still with us. However, due to that horrific accident he has lost the ability to do his job as a Philadelphia Police Officer in the 24th district, serving the community he loves so much by being there to serve and protect it. Following the footsteps of his grandfather who is a retired Philadelphia Police Officer.

Vlad is the light of many of the lives that have had the pleasure of knowing him. He is a beloved son, brother, father, and friend. He loves and enjoys serving his community, but there is nothing in the world he loves more than his family, especially his three-year-old daughter; his daughter who he has always enjoyed spending all his free time with.

Sadly, due to this injury, Vlad is still bed-bound; needing financial support to be able to cover all his needs. His insurance only covered nine weeks of rehabilitation. Since then, Vlad has been home where his family, especially our parents and grandmother, have been his caretakers, occupational, speech, and physical therapists. During this hard process, Vlad is still not able to talk, walk, or move on his own. Our family has been by his side day and night tending to all of his needs. We are asking for your help to be able to continue covering his costs as he recuperates, he is in special need of a Handicap Equipped Van. The money donated will be used towards this purpose and any other equipment needed by Vlad to continue towards his full recovery. We continue hope and pray, knowing that God one day will restore him and he will be better than he once was; continuing to love his family and sharing his passion for the community.

Every quantity is welcomed, no amount is too small. We greatly appreciate any donation; it takes a village to make a difference. A difference in a life who has been called to greater things, who has a greater purpose and calling from God as HE says in Jeremiah 29:11.
