Help Me Build a Sustainable Disabled Artist Studio

Donation protected
Last summer, your support helped me stay afloat after I had to stop working because of my disability. I am incredibly grateful for everyone who donated, shared, or cheered me on during that time.

Since then, I've been working to build a sustainable source of income through my art. Last month, I launched the Sapphic Cinephile Mail Club, a monthly mail subscription featuring original artwork inspired by lesbian cinema.

The first month, inspired by Desert Hearts, was a huge milestone for me. Getting to pack and send my artwork to subscribers was genuinely a dream come true.

In the process, I learned a very expensive lesson: outsourcing art prints is costly enough that it ate up nearly all of the profit from the club.

I'm raising $1,000 to purchase an Epson EcoTank printer and supplies so I can produce future mail club prints in-house. Doing so would dramatically reduce production costs and help make the club sustainable long-term.

As a disabled artist and single mom, creating art is one of the few ways I can earn income while working within the limits of my health instead of against them.

Every donation, share, and word of encouragement helps me continue creating artwork, growing the club, and bringing more lesbian cinema into people's mailboxes each month. Thank you for helping me keep this project alive. ❤️
