Help Vivek Rai During His Time of Loss

We are reaching out to you today to share a story that weighs heavily on our hearts. Our dear friend Vivek Rai is facing an incredibly challenging time due to the sudden passing of his wife, Ankita. Despite his remarkable strength and resilience, the financial burden has become overwhelming.

Recently, Ankita was admitted to St. Michael’s Hospital, Toronto with shortness of breath due to fluid in her lungs. She was then transferred to Toronto General Hospital, where her condition unfortunately escalated into cardiac arrest. She was placed on ECMO and life support but sadly passed away on February 12 at around 12 AM EST. Vivek has always been there for others, offering support and kindness, and now it’s our turn to help him. He will be leaving for India on February 18 to complete her final rituals along with 8-year-old son.

To ease his financial strain, we’ve created this GoFundMe page to raise funds for relocation and other expenses. Our goal is to help Vivek focus on healing and getting back on his feet without the added stress of financial worries.
