Vivek SoNii, my former exchange student, has been given an incredible opportunity to attend the Genesis Academy Summer Institute, a highly selective program organized by Genesis at the Crossroads. This program, which takes place in East Africa/Mauritius, is known for its workshops, collaborative projects, research exposure, and leadership training. Vivek is especially excited because the program aligns closely with both his short-term and long-term goals. Out of many applicants, he was fortunate to receive a major scholarship that covers most of the program fee. However, he is still required to contribute a portion, which is currently a financial challenge for him and his family.

During his time as an exchange student here in 2024-2025, Vivek touched many of our hearts with his sweet spirit and dedication. Since returning home, he has continued to work hard, help others, and grow as a leader. This summer program is a chance for him to build on those experiences and make an even greater impact in his community and beyond. The funds raised will go directly toward paying his portion of the tuition, ensuring he can take part in this life-changing opportunity.
