We are “Vive el Quechua ”, a project by Yana Films, an all indigenous production organization, that aims to revitalize and promote the Andean culture through teaching Quechua Collao and its traditions.
Quechua is more than "the living language of the Incas", it is an identity, a language that connects us with who we are, and reminds us of our roots. The project was born with the desire to bring people closer to our Andean culture and its values.
"Vive el Quechua" which means "Live the Quechua", it is one of a kind project that teaches the language by native speakers and shares Quechua as a way of life. Demonstrating indigenous runas (people) sharing our ideologies and beliefs.
It is said that when a language disappears, a culture disappears. We look forward to start production by June of 2021. We would greatly appreciate your support to cover the cost of season 2 (10 episodes) on YouTube. Sullpayki!
