Viv Malo, Gooniyandi Woman, Mother, 3CR Community Radio broadcaster, staunch and fearless advocate, artist and community worker needs our help!

Early this month Viv learnt her breast cancer has returned. This is a sudden, devastating and unexpected turn. She had an emergency hysterectomy operation to remove the bulk of the cancer on the 22 October before starting further therapy shortly.

Viv has already survived breast cancer in 2018 and after a clear bill of health and feeling good, Viv

started working as an Aboriginal Health Worker in North Richmond in March, a role she has been

dedicated to. Viv will try to maintain one day a week at work, working from home.

Please consider a donation to help support Viv during the next 6-12 months of treatment – your generosity will go to support medical costs, some bills and other health costs related to keeping Viv safe and secure during this time. We understand cancer is a long journey and want to make it as comfortable as possible, it will be harder this time with Covid still with us.
