Hello, my name is Rafaela Borges, and I am raising funds for my son, Vitor, to be able to walk again. Vitor lives in Brazil with my mother. He is 14 years old and has a diagnosis of Autism with a severe cognitive deficit.

He walks with bilateral hindfoot varus, which is worse on the right side, where the surgery will take place.

After a four-year wait for surgery in Brazil's public health system, we're now raising funds for a private surgery, which will allow him to walk again and go back to the special needs school he’s attending!

We have consulted a private doctor (Dr. Adriano Camillo Eberle – Pediatric Orthopedics), who has given us the following quote for the surgery and post-operative care.
