Meet Vito, our sweet kitten who we rescued after he fell out of a tree. He was the runt of his litter and has always needed a little extra care and attention. Vito was also born with a rare eye condition called distichiasis, where his eyelashes grow inward instead of outward. This causes them to constantly rub against his eyes, making his vision worse over time. He often bumps into things and struggles to see, but he is still a happy and loving kitten full of life.

If untreated, this condition can lead to severe pain and even permanent vision loss. The good news is that surgery can correct the problem and give Vito the chance to live a long, healthy, and comfortable life.
