Vito is a 1-month-old Chug puppy who recently became the newest member of my family. Just days after we adopted him on September 28, 2025, Vito suddenly became lethargic, started vomiting, and refused to eat or drink. He also developed diarrhea, and I knew something was seriously wrong. Thankfully, we already had a vet appointment scheduled for the next day, where Vito was diagnosed with parvovirus—a life-threatening illness for puppies this young.
We began treatment at home, but Vito’s condition quickly worsened. He was admitted to the emergency vet, where he’s been staying overnight. Vito is now receiving intensive care, including a feeding tube through his nose, IV fluids, blood tests, x-rays, and a range of medications like antibiotics and anti-nausea drugs. The veterinary team is doing everything possible to help him recover, but the costs for his hospital stay and treatments are overwhelming.
This experience has been incredibly hard and emotional for my family. Vito is already a beloved part of our lives, and seeing him fight for his health has been heartbreaking. We’re raising funds to help cover the veterinary expenses for his emergency care, medications, and ongoing treatment. Any support will go directly toward giving Vito the best chance at a full recovery and bringing him home healthy.
