Hi, my name is Virginia. My son has had an unexpected emergency surgery putting me out of work for a little over a week. I am reaching out for a little support as I am the main source of income for my family. I’m a single mom of 3 beautiful kids. It is my youngest son who has fallen ill and is currently in the hospital. He is 12 and his name is Dominic. He had been transferred on Monday from our local hospital to St Mary’s medical center where he went under surgery Tuesday morning. We are looking to hopefully come home some time next week. I have a full time job working for Verizon where my main income comes from selling. Due to my son’s unforeseen illness I had to leave work early in my shift Monday and have been by his bed side. My other 2 children are 17 and 14 and have been home and with family since we have been away. I’m not the one to usually ask for anything. I am in a time of need.
