On December 23 at 4:54 pm just 38 years old our beautiful sister Virginia Zavala was called home to find eternal peace. She searched months for answers regarding her condition. After a while she finally started getting some answers. She educated herself with her disease as this was a battle she refused to lose. She was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease, Dermatomyositis which brought on ILD. Her quality of life and health went very fast, very quickly. Any one who knew Vicky knew she lived life on her terms, she was determined to do things her way! Her journey was never easy, she battled depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder her whole life. At times she was highly misunderstood due to her complex thinking. She had many battles no one even knew about. Her will to keep going got stronger though. Then this disease came into play but yet she refused to be pittied. Nor did she question her ability to fight. She was very strong to the very end. Her love & desire to raise her 6 children, whom she knew would need her, was why she hurt to leave. She will be so missed. She loved to listen and help others in her own wild crazy ways. She loved being an aunt. She was the fun crazy aunt to all her nieces and nephews. Being a Tia was a joy like being a mom. She treated every kid as her own. Her wonderful husband, Salvador is now a single father of 6. He never left her side. He did everything she asked to go above and beyond in making her a happy wife til the very end. Our mom is also extremely hurt and lost. She was her best friend. They were thick as thieves and depended on each other for everything. On behalf of her husband, kids, and our mom we truly appreciate all the help. The proceeds will help her husband and now single father, get through some challenging times. Being at her bedside for a month and no work with bills and costs of her health was so challenging. God bless. We never imagined having to be using this platform ever so from our hearts to yours thank you! Prayers are so powerful and we are grateful for all the support!
