My mother, Virginia Vo, was the first of her family to go to college, and she spent decades of her life working hard as a registered nurse in labor & delivery to provide for her family. She has now become very ill and unable to work because of impaired mobility, trembling hands, relying on her son Michael to care for her.
I am lucky to have the job that I do, but it is untenable for me to continue to provide for myself and for my mother and brother. That is why I am asking for help. Since she has not been able to successfully be approved for disability benefits despite her multiple debilitating ailments, she has no income of her own.
The funds donated will go toward paying her medical care as well as assisting with her other bills such as rent and utility bills.
