Help Ishani earn her bachelors in economics

My name is Ishani. I am an undergraduate student at Southeast Missouri State University. I’m currently in my first semester, and I’m finding it difficult to complete my first semester tuition. Due to the Sri Lankan economic crisis and my family’s financial situation, funding for my education has become a hurdle. It is my firm belief that by acquiring the knowledge and skills offered by this program, I will be better equipped to excel in my chosen career path. Allow me to briefly explain my background and present situation.

I started working when I was in high school, to support my own education. Due to my family’s financial circumstances, paying for my exams and my classes became difficult. Amongst all this the current economic crisis in Sri Lanka has made things even worse. We are going through the largest economic crisis in Sri Lankan history. Even Though most of the difficulties have been reduced, the economic consequences of the devaluation of the Sri Lankan rupee are now coming into effect.

The income that me and my parents earn is mainly spent on meeting daily needs. During high school, working and studying at the same time took its toll on me, but I look back at that situation with gratitude. I have never let these hardships get in the way of my education and my goals. These obstacles have only strengthened me and built me into a preserving character. Therefore, please take my humble request into consideration, as I ask you to donate towards my education.
