Violet’s big surgery and extended recovery After a long 4 year journey to get here, I have a date for my bottom surgery. October 8th will be the day of this major life moment and I’m super excited! I’m also experiencing a bit of understandable trepidation by the reality of what the surgery and recovery time will entail. It’s a long surgery followed by a week long stay in the hospital. After I get home from the hospital, I won’t be able to return to work for 2-3 months.
