Violet is a rescue dog who came into our lives after being surrendered from a homeless camp. When she arrived, she was suffering from severe medical neglect, including massive dental issues and advanced heart disease. The shelter was unsure if she would survive, and even considered euthanasia due to her poor prognosis. Despite the odds, Violet underwent a major dental procedure that left her with only a few teeth, but she pulled through like a true champion. Since coming to live with us, she has blossomed and thrived. With heart medications, a high-quality diet, and endless love, her heart condition improved enough that she was even able to be spayed.

Now, Violet is facing another challenge. She is currently at Angell Animal Medical Center in liver failure, and the cause is unknown. Our goal is to get her the best emergency treatment possible so she can continue to live out her golden years as the spoiled little chihuahua she deserves to be.
