Hello, and thank you so much for taking the time to read our story.
For those who know our family, you’ll know that we are not ones to ask for help easily. But today, I’m reaching out with a heavy heart, because we find ourselves in a situation that’s beyond our control, and we are in desperate need of your support.
My beautiful little sister Violet, who is only 20 years old, has struggled with kidney issues her entire life. She’s been through more than anyone should have to endure, and now, the time has come for her to undergo a kidney transplant. I’m beyond grateful that I am a match and can donate my kidney to her, but the road ahead is long and filled with challenges. Her surgery is scheduled for May 2nd, and while we are hopeful, the emotional and financial weight of this process is something we can’t carry alone.
The recovery process will be grueling for both of us, and we’re asking for your help to lighten the burden. The funds we raise will go towards covering our medical expenses, as well as the loss of income for our parents, who will both need to take time off work to care for us. They will be by our sides, doing everything they can to help us heal, and we want to make sure they can focus on us without the added stress of worrying about how to pay the bills.
Violet is such a kind, strong, and loving person, and all she has ever wanted is to live a normal, healthy life. She deserves so much more than the pain and uncertainty she’s had to endure. I’m donating my kidney to her because I would do anything to give her the chance at the life she deserves. But we can’t do this alone.
Any donation, no matter how small, will make a world of difference. Your kindness will help us through this difficult journey and bring us one step closer to a future where Violet can live free from the daily struggles of kidney disease.
We are beyond grateful for your support, love, and generosity. It means the world to us and gives us hope in these tough times. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us in any way you can. God bless.
With love and gratitude,
The Hernandez Family
