Help Vio Pay Sprocket’s Vet Bills!

Hello! I’m Vio, a 19 year old college student. As much as I didn’t want to do this I’ve found myself in a situation where I’ve no choice, and hope this is the only time I’ll have to do this. The cat in the photos is Sprocket, my recently adopted (February 16th) emotional support animal whom I love more than anything in the world. Unfortunately, despite being told Sprocket is 100% healthy (besides being slightly overweight at 13 pounds, which he’s been eating less proportions now, and some tartar on his teeth that is being dealt with!) he has been constipated for about a month now.

When I noticed he had gone 3 days without using the bathroom in a row, I took him to his veterinarian who recommended adding more fiber to his diet (pumpkin, rice, etc.) as well as hydration (I switched him fully to wet food). After a little while, he started to get something out, but they were small, hard, dry pieces; as well as him defecating outside of the litterbox (but still urinating inside the litterbox). Despite finally being able to somewhat defecate he wasn’t having healthy bowel movements, as well as he was still going 1-2 days with ONLY urinating.

I contacted more veterinarians, but unfortunately due to me being a full time student with an unstable job (self-employed artist, money comes and goes but he has everything he needs to thrive as he’s my biggest priority) they were all overly expensive and I was denied payment plans every time.

Fortunately, I found a veterinarian hospital that could treat him for much less than the other clinics ($1500, $950, etc…) so I’m hoping to make $500 ($200 base for examination, $300 for covering possible medication and etc.) to cover the expenses of his vet trip while I wait to hear back from some jobs I’ve applied to.
