Hello everyone, my name is Krista Bartley Briffette, and I am reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help for my father, Vinton Bartley other wise known as Patman. He is currently hospitalized and preparing for discharge, but before he can safely return home, doctors have made it clear that he must begin dialysis immediately. In order for my dad to start dialysis, he must first have a dialysis catheter (access device) surgically placed. This procedure is absolutely necessary and life-saving — without it, he cannot receive treatment, and his health is at serious risk.

Once the catheter is placed, my father will need dialysis treatments twice every week on an ongoing basis. These treatments are not optional; they are essential for him to survive. Our family has done everything possible to manage his care, but the medical costs have quickly become overwhelming and far beyond what we can afford on our own. That is why we are humbly asking for support. Funds raised will help cover the dialysis catheter placement, the cost of the catheter, ongoing dialysis treatments, and hospital and related medical expenses.
