Hi, I’m Leonie. On Friday 6th June, Vinny was diagnosed with Parvovirus. He’s a fully vaccinated Springer Spaniel who is otherwise a beautiful, friendly and healthy 1-year-old.

We’re all absolutely heartbroken. He’s in a veterinary hospital getting the treatment he needs, but our pet insurance only covers the first £5000, and it’s looking like he’ll need to be in hospital for longer than this will cover. We’re doing everything we can to get the funds together, and as much as I hate asking for this - I’m desperate.

Vinny is an amazing dog, so cuddly and inquisitive. He’s terrified of feathers, which we used to joke made him the softest dog in the world. But now we know he’s a fighter.

We just want to know that we can keep him in hospital for as long as he needs to beat this. Please, please help if you can, we need him to get better - his brother misses him so much.

All funds will go directly to Vinny’s treatment and rehabilitation costs, any leftover funds will go to the PDSA to ensure other people can access treatment for their best friends if they need to.
