Help Vine Reclaim Her Car and Stability

5/7/2025 Update: New Request!!

Hey thank you all so much for helping me recover my car. I’m extremely grateful to you all. After I got my car back I lost my job and was unable to pay rent for the last three months. My landlord filed for eviction. I have court May 15th I am unable to get assistance because I am a one person household due to budget cuts they have no funding in order to assist me to avoid eviction. Fortunately I have a job now however, I started May 5th. In addition to this terrifying housing crisis I just found out I am 8 weeks pregnant. I have four months left before my lease is up and will be seeking more affordable housing. Until then I call on community once again for support during this extremely transitional and terrifying time. I am doing my best to avoid eviction. I need 3,800 dollars before May 15th in order to stop court proceedings.

3/5/25 Update: Friends!!!! Today, Vine was able to pay $2269.26 to become current in her car loan. This amount included past due amount, impound fees, and payment processing fees. Tomorrow, we will follow up with the impound lot to see if they received the paperwork to release her vehicle to her. The loan company quoted her next payment to be in April for over $700. Once we get the car out of the impound lot and her account reactivated, we are going to work to negotiate a lower car payment. (Prayers up!) Thank you so much for your timely support!!! I have increased our goal to $3000 to give Vine some breathing room (as was the initial intent, but the bill was higher than she thought.) Without your gifts, Vine would have lost her car to auction. We'll confirm (and celebrate) when Vine actually has her car back. Please pray for a smooth, peaceful transition without any shenanigans.

My neighbor, Vine, is in a tough spot. Over the past few years, she has navigated multiple tragedies and high-stress situations. She had a violent death in her family, her father fell ill, and she is seeking custody of her niece. On top of everything, her car was repossessed this week.

Here are her words from her situation:

"My car was repossessed this week. I thought I had more time to catch up; however, that is not the case. They are threatening to auction my car in six days if I cannot pay the remaining $1,100. Anything truly helps, and it would be greatly appreciated if you can help with anything or know anyone who would also be willing to help. I certainly would not be asking if I had other options. I recently started working my new job and I won’t be paid until March 15th. My car will more than likely be gone if I cannot get any help."

Since the incident, she only needs $656 to get her car back. Join me in blessing her with $1,500 to give her a little breathing room to adjust her finances after her car is returned!
