Help Vincent Vang Study Abroad in Japan

Donation protected
My name is Victor Vang and I am the father of Vincent Vang. Vincent just turned sixteen years old and just received his driver's license. In the last two months, it was announced that he was accepted to study abroad in Japan.

Vincent is a student at Monona Grove High School and is currently a straight-A 4.0 GPA student. He played high school football for Monona Grove and his number was 43.

Vincent is also a member of DECA. DECA Inc., formerly Distributive Education Clubs of America, is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit career and technical student organization (CTSO) with more than 297,000 members in all 50 U.S. states, Washington, DC; Australia, Canada, China, Germany, India, Mexico, Poland, Puerto Rico, Spain, and Vietnam.

DECA, an Association of Marketing Students, provides programs that work hand-in-hand with your school's marketing classes to provide extra outlets designed for individual talents and interests. DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management in high schools and colleges around the globe.

Vincent is a kind and gentle person. He makes friends quickly and is well-behaved. Vincent is an open-minded, friendly, and resourceful leader with a sound and optimistic outlook on all things in life. He possesses an innate ability to motivate others, coupled with the ability to communicate comfortably at all levels, therefore ensuring a positive environment for all members of any group he is with to perform at their best.

Vincent possesses a clear, logical mind with a practical approach to critical thinking, problem-solving, and a drive to see things through to completion. He has a great eye for detail. He is eager to learn, enjoys overcoming challenges, and has a genuine interest in the education of others.

The cost of the program is almost $10,000, and with spending costs for the trip, his mother Xong and I estimate that it will probably total around $15,000.

Vincent has the opportunity to expand his education and come to a point in his life to move forward with his ongoing education. He has been given the opportunity his mother and I, nor any members of our family, have ever gotten. The door has been cracked and his mother and I need to give him the opportunity to go through it.

As a parent, you only want the best for your child, but sometimes our best is not enough. I come to you asking for your assistance to help my son pursue a dream. He is scheduled to leave for Japan on June 28, 2025. We have to make all payments by the end of April. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
