Help Vincent Stay in His Brooklyn Home

Hi, My name is Vincent and I'm 75. I live in Brooklyn and I'm quickly running out of my savings. Like many people my age and older Social Security, as helpful as it is, can't keep up with rising costs. I spent a lifetime working. I was a writer for most of my life and a college administrator for a while and I made guitars and basses until I contracted Cancer in 2021 at the height of the pandemic. I obviously survived it and I am now now not able to work. My fear is that I will lose my apartment and I have no idea what I'll do after that.

I'm am an optimistic person and I always try to see past the difficulties that modern life puts on us. I have always helped the poor. I still have money for someone who is worse off than I am. It was hard for me to do this. A great friend put me up to it and said "There are people out there that will want to help you, who are like you, and find joy and meaning in giving." It was something like that. If you can help me it will take the fear of homelessness away. All the best.
