Help Vincent Recover From His Hiking Accident

My name is Vincent. I was very active. I'm self-employed. If I'm not hiking in a national park or photographing abandoned buildings, I was cleaning houses. I loved my job and my life.

Back in October of 2024, I fell hiking in Arizona's National Petrified Forest. I tripped on some rocks and lost my footing. I was off trail and alone when I fell and broke my fibula and ankle. The sun was going down as I started screaming for help. I had no cell phone reception and no one to call.

A couple finally from Minnesota came to my rescue. I sat on the trail for 2 hours before help came and then 2 more hours to the hospital. The nice couple drove my rental to the hospital for me. The doctor reset my bones, wrapped me up, and sent me on my way. I then drove 9 hours on my broken parts back to Salt Lake City. I had to unload my stuff into a storage unit with a paid helper and return my rental jeep. I then caught my flight home and had surgery on November 6th. A plate, 6 screws, and a wire hold it all together. I temporarily closed my cleaning business because I was unable to work. 4 months later and I am still struggling. I am nowhere near where I was. I just want my life back.

I've lost clients and plenty of income. My monthly bills are higher than ever and I'm still playing catch up. The recovery is taking a lot longer than they said it would and I am unable to work as much as I did. I have spent all of my money trying to recover. This accident has turned my life completely upside down. I’ve been cleaning houses for 30 years. I can’t imagine doing anything else. Every month I worry how I'm gonna pay rent or afford my groceries. If I had a little more cash to pay my upcoming rent and bills, I could possibly get ahead of the curve. Thank mom for buying my groceries, lord knows I do.
