Help Vince Running Through Stage 4 Cancer

UPDATED 10/9/24

On Friday October 4, 2024 Vince Running was taken by ambulance to the hospital in severe pain (which he’s been struggling with for weeks), shortness of breath and several other symptoms. He had seen doctors for these symptoms previously and was put on Prednisone which didn’t alleviate any symptoms.

While at the hospital Vince and Terry received a diagnosis nobody ever wants to hear…..stage 4 cancer.

Vince does not have medical insurance and Terry started a new job on October 1, 2024.

Although, the information I’m posting is minimal at this time, I wanted to immediately do what I could to help ease the pain and struggle in anyway I could.

I know everyone that knows the Running family absolutely adores them. Vince, Terry, their girls and grandchildren have a long emotional journey ahead of them. They would never ask anyone for help so here I am doing it for them.

Please help with any amount and share on social media, with friends and family.

10/8/24 Vince is still in the hospital and Terry spends her days with him still trying to wrap her head around everything. I have no idea when he will be released.

What I know so far is the cancer has metastasized. A port was placed yesterday so he can start chemotherapy. Currently they are waiting for pathology results. There’s been issues keeping his blood pressure stable and difficulty eating solid food.

10/9/24 No visitors allowed at hospital. Unfortunately, doctors are trying to get the pain under control for Vince. He will hopefully be sleeping today as they try to figure things out. Thank you all for your continued prayers and support.
