Hi, my name is Vince. To be perfectly honest, this is quite embarrassing to ask people for donations on my behalf. I have a good paying job and great health insurance so why would someone like me need help? Well, I have MS. I was diagnosed in 2019 and even with excellent health insurance, I’ve still racked up well over $15,000 in medical bills since my diagnosis. From physical/occupational therapy 3x a week after flare ups, being admitted to the hospital, bloodwork, almost a dozen MRIs, infusion treatments, a catheter placed in my chest, 4 rounds of immune suppressing treatments, appointments with multiple specialists, a spinal tab, medication, and the list goes on and on. Now that I bought a house, the costs of trying to make my house as comfortable as possible got out of hand (as well as being lied to and stiffed by a few contractors), and all the medical expenses from the last year (that’s ongoing), I’m waving the white flag, putting on a brave face and asking for help from my friends and family. I’ve already sold a lot of the valuables I did have. I do understand that this is not the best time to ask for help with COVID. If you are able to help, I would be eternally grateful.
