Hi everyone, my name is Vince, and this is honestly very difficult for me to write—but I could really use some help right now. Over the past several months, I’ve been actively searching for employment and doing everything I can to stay on my feet. Unfortunately, my job search has recently stalled due to ongoing health complications. I’ve been dealing with non-alcoholic cirrhosis and ascites, which has required multiple medical procedures. I’ve already had paracentesis done twice to drain fluid buildup, and I’m now facing it again. I am currently working with county rental assistance, but I’ve run into a difficult situation—they require 30 days of steady employment before I qualify. While I understand the policy, it’s created a catch-22 where I need stability to get help, but I need help to stay stable. Right now, I’m trying to cover my immediate living costs and keep a safe place to live—not just for myself, but for my two cats, Renny and Nyxie. They’re all I have left from my old family, and the thought of them being homeless or ending up in a shelter because I couldn’t make rent is something I can’t bear. They mean everything to me, and keeping them safe is my biggest concern. I want to be clear—I’m still applying, still pushing forward, and doing everything I can to get back to a stable place. This is just a moment where I need a little help getting through. If you’re able to donate, I would be incredibly grateful. And if you can’t, even sharing this campaign would mean a lot to me. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for any support you can give. It truly means more than I can put into words. — Vince
