Indra, Abhinav, and Ayush are very thankful to everyone for all the support and prayers during the last six months, as they resume their lives with Vinai's memories. It is with deep sorrow that we inform you of the passing of Mr. Vinai P. Singh in his home, surrounded by family on the night of May 10, 2021, due to complications of COVID-19 infection.
He was a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. Vinai moved to the US from India and lived a quintessential hard-working, successful immigrant life. He made a name for himself in the IT industry and was actively sought after for his expertise. He was a hiking enthusiast. His disarming smile complemented his passionate nature. His presence lit up frequent gatherings with his many friends.
As he joins the all-encompassing spiritual consciousness, let us join to celebrate his life at 10:30 am Wednesday, May 12, 2021, from the chapel of Byrd and Flanigan Funeral Home at 288 Hurricane Shoals Rd NE, Lawrenceville, GA 30046.
The ceremony will also be live-streamed. You can go to byrdandflanigan.com, scroll past COVID information and access the live stream video.

A note about the rationale behind the increase in fund goal:
At the start of this fundraising campaign, our hope was that Vinai will be out of the coma and recover soon. Unfortunately, as of December 28, 2020, he is still in a deep coma.
Vinai is young and needs time for his brain injuries to heal. He will need long term care. This evolving situation has led us to increase the fund goal so that his family doesn’t face any financial crisis while dealing with his health challenges.

It's a sad and traumatic situation for Vinai's family. Vinai is in ICU and his wife Indra and kids are also quarantined and awaiting results.
Vinai was fine until Thursday evening and had cold-like symptoms. He went to sleep early and didn't wake up the next morning. Since then he is admitted at Gwinnett Medical Center, Lawrenceville. He is in a coma. According to doctors, he is suffering from brain inflammation and strokes due to covid infection.
Vinai's wife Indra and sons Ayush(14) and Abhinav(20) are also quarantined and awaiting covid test results. The whole family is very overwhelmed. We are here at Go fund me to raise funds for Vinai's family which will help them meet their medical expenses and kids' future goals.
Every contribution and prayer counts for the family.
