Hello everyone,
A few days ago I met Vikas in Dharamsala, India. He was selling kiwis and dates to earn money for his education. Vikas is studying Computer Application in Bachelor. In India, students have to pay tuition fees for their studies.
His parents both died four years ago. So he has no financial support. In addition to selling kiwis and dates, he teaches English to young children and washes dishes for a restaurant to earn money for food and transportation. He lives with his two younger sisters in a small room. Vikas invited me to his home, I met his neigbours and the head of the village. We cooked Aloo Gobi (potatoes with cauliflower) with vegetables from his garden. In the future, Vikas would like to work in a bank to earn good money and help people who are in a similar situation to him today.
I had tears in my eyes when I heard his story and experienced all this, thats why I want to help him.
All donations will go to Vikas and his sisters.
Thank you very much for your help!
Lance
