Help Vik & Roe secure lifesaving needs

Hello, this is Roe Sierra, the partner of Viktoria (Beryl) Sierra.

On May 3, 2025, after 2 years of losing multiple housings, being houseless, food insecurity, medical emergencies, losing our father to medical neglect, loss of grandmother, loss of income, loss of jobs, etc., Viktoria was hospitalized for a week with severe autonomic shutdown. After years of struggling with medical negligence from doctors, we have been desperately searching for answers to why Vik continues to get worse. We think we are at a point where this could happen, but we financially are unable to attain this aid. We have not been able to afford daily needs and have not been eating as much food in order to save money, and now Viktoria cannot work until they have been cleared medically. They recently started on heart failure prevention medication and are trying to get back into the cardiologist for assessment. We have an appointment coming up next week that will have her using a monitor for 30 days to check for arrhythmias and heart issues. Vik is also malnourished and we need to have more security with food but not having any credit options as our cards are all in collections, has been tough. 

We have restarted a new GoFundMe focused solely on making 2 months back rent ($2400) and to aid Viktoria and myself moving forward as we are 2 years into fundraising and our last one has completely stalled. We are seeking to make funds to catch up on back bills that have been piling up, essentials like food and utilities, as well as helping with medical essentials after Vik’s life-threatening hospitalization and return home.

We would like to eventually move out of Southern Texas and into a better situation as we have no family or community nearby that is healthy or safe for us. However, we know times are tough and are truly grateful just to get the housing, food, and medical help.
