Howdy everyone - I've signed Viggo up for a school-related trip to visit Italy and Greece for 10 days this summer. It's a wonderful program called "Adriatic Odyssey" that will dive into the culture, philosophies, art, and mythologies from this region that have helped shape our world for thousands of years. A great experience and a good look on a college application to boot.

The only rub is... times are a little tough for me at the moment, and I need to ask for help to pull this off. Viggo has always had an interest in both Greek and Roman mythology, as well as world history in general, which is why I'm exploring fundraising options to make this happen for him.

His journey will begin in Rome and will travel to Florence, Ancona, Igoumenitsa, Delphi, and finish in Athens.

The Pantheon, the Colosseum, Sistine Chapel, the Vatican, Delphi Museum, Temple of Apollo, and Olympic Stadium are just some of the sites he'll get to visit along the way. He'll be joined by 9 other students, all chaperoned by his AP World History teacher who oversees similar trips each summer.

The $5K goal covers all travel (air, sea, rail, and bus), lodging, breakfast and dinner, and any fees related to museums, workshops, etc. throughout the 10 day trip.

We have a few months to get this together, so anything helps and everything is much appreciated!
