We are Hien and Giovanni, a Vietnamese-Italian couple living in Germany with our children.

Today we are asking for help not for ourselves, but for the people we love in Vietnam.

After the recent devastating storm, many families — including elderly people and small children — were forced to climb onto their roofs and spend the night there as the water reached the first floor of their homes.

Now that the floodwaters are finally retreating, the situation is heartbreaking.

Houses are covered in mud, personal belongings are destroyed, and many families have nothing left.

The most urgent needs today are basic essentials: food, clean clothes, medicine, and school materials for children who lost everything.

We are raising money to support the population in the region of Phú Yên (Dak Lak), where we have trusted contacts.

Every donation will be sent directly to our friends there, who will use 100% of the funds to purchase food, medicine, and school supplies for families and children affected by the disaster.

Any contribution — no matter the size — will make a real difference.

Siamo Hien e Giovanni, una coppia vietnamita-italiana che vive in Germania con i propri figli.

Oggi chiediamo aiuto non per noi, ma per le persone che amiamo in Vietnam.

Dopo la recente devastante tempesta, molte famiglie — tra cui anziani e bambini piccoli — sono state costrette a salire sui tetti e a trascorrere la notte lì mentre l’acqua raggiungeva il primo piano delle loro case.

Ora che l’acqua si sta finalmente ritirando, la situazione è straziante.

Le case sono ricoperte di fango, gli oggetti personali sono persi o distrutti e molte famiglie non hanno più nulla.

I bisogni più urgenti riguardano beni essenziali: cibo, vestiti puliti, medicine e materiale scolastico per i bambini che hanno perso tutto.

Stiamo raccogliendo fondi per aiutare la popolazione della regione di Phú Yên (Dak Lak), dove abbiamo contatti fidati. Ogni donazione verrà inviata direttamente ai nostri amici del posto, che utilizzeranno il 100% dei fondi per acquistare cibo, medicine e materiale scolastico per le famiglie e i bambini colpiti dal disastro.
