Hi, my name is Vida, and I’m fundraising for my top surgery — a life-changing step toward finally feeling at home in my own skin.
Top surgery isn’t about vanity; it’s about relief — the freedom to exist in my body without pain, fear, or constant self-correction. It’s the difference between surviving and truly living. The difference between wearing a chest binder frequently enough to bruise and hurt my lungs over time and breathing freely.
I’ve been on testosterone for a while now, and it’s been an incredible part of my journey. But top surgery is the next crucial step — one that will allow me to breathe easier (literally and emotionally), wear what I want without fear, and see myself in the mirror as I actually am. Unfortunately, even with insurance, some money remains between the surgery and the supplies needed and the month I'll need to spend healing. Between surgical fees, pillows, meals, recovery time off work, and post-op care, I can’t do this alone. With any luck, I'll qualify for Paid Leave Oregon and this will all go towards post-op care and meals or returned.
Your support — whether through donations or sharing this link — means everything. Every dollar brings me closer to a body that feels like mine.
Thank you for helping me take this step toward freedom, confidence, and peace.
