Help Victor's Road to Recovery

On the early morning of January 19, we were awoken by desperate cries from our dad, Victor Sanchez. Our dad was getting ready for work when he began feeling pain on his left side and went to get help by waking us up with the pounding on the bedroom door. Our dad asked to be taken to the ER and when we arrived to the ER his pain intensified and was rushed quickly inside. Once our dad got inside nurses began to give him pain medicine but unfortunately he suffered a seizure and heart attack. We had to watch as the Doctors/ nurses worked to restart our dad’s heart by performing CPR and using defibrillation to revive our dad when he flatlined 3 times. Once they revived him they rushed him into surgery where Doctors were able to find the clotted artery. The doctors said that his survival was a miracle because our dad’s heart main artery was blocked and had he not been at the hospital he most likely would have not survived.

Our father has a long road to recovery and at this time we are asking for help to cover expenses. Our dad does not have health insurance and he is going to need multiple cardiologist visits and physical therapy. The doctors also recommended that he not return to work because of the heavy lifting that is required from his job in construction. He most likely will not be able to return to construction and this is devastating for our dad because he has been working in that industry for 30 years. Him not being able to return to work will create a heavy financial burden for our family. If you can donate our family will greatly appreciate it.
