I'm helping raise funds for Victor Ovcearenco. He is a godly man, husband, and father, dealing with a life-threatening medical crisis. His letter is below.

"I need help to get cancer treatment so that my son would have a father."
Dear friends,
It's not easy for me to write this message, but I've decided to be honest and tell you about what's going on in my life right now.
My name is Victor Ovcearenco, I'm 32 years old. I have a loving wife and a wonderful son, who just turned 2.
Just before New Year's, I found out that I have colon cancer. While everyone was getting ready for Christmas and New Year's, I was undergoing medical tests and trying to understand what would happen to me next.
Due to the overburdened medical system in the Republic of Moldova, I was unable to start the tests on time: the waiting lists for MRIs, CT scans, and oncology consultations stretch for months, and in my situation, time is of the essence. In order not to lose time, I had to pay for the necessary tests myself at private clinics, which involved very high costs.
It was later confirmed that the tumor was malignant—stage III colon cancer.
Since I was told that it would not be possible to start treatment in Moldova anytime soon, I had to come to Romania in the hope of being able to start treatment as quickly as possible.
Today I am far away from my family, knocking on the doors of clinics in Romania and seeking help to save my life.
Currently, the tumor is in a state where surgery is not yet possible. It is located in an extremely dangerous area, has spread beyond the intestinal wall, and the lymph nodes are affected. Doctors say that treatment must begin as soon as possible in order to preserve the chance of recovery.
Doctors in Romania are already prepared to begin treatment, but it is very expensive. There are several difficult stages ahead: chemotherapy, then radiotherapy, and then surgery. Each stage involves high costs that we cannot afford on our own.
It is very difficult for me to ask for help. I hesitated a lot before writing this message. But I am doing it for my son, so that he can have a father. I know what it means to grow up without a father—my father died when I was four and a half—and I wholeheartedly want to be with my family and for my son to have a father.
The doctors say that at this stage there is still a real chance of recovery. But treatment must begin immediately, because there is a risk of rapid spread of metastases. Otherwise, it will no longer be a matter of saving his life, but only of postponing the inevitable.
I am a Christian, and my main hope is in my Savior. At the same time, I understand that all power belongs to God, not only in Heaven but also on earth, and that to save a life, God works not only supernaturally, but often through people and doctors.
I am embarassed to ask for help—I am a grown man who would gladly serve others—but God has humbled me to the point where I am forced to ask for your help.
I ask all those who can support me—financially, through prayer, or by sharing this message—I will be deeply grateful. Even the smallest amount of support means a lot today to save my life.
Thank you to everyone who has read this message and supported me. This gives me the strength and ability to fight and move forward.
