Help Victoria get Autism Service Dog

Hi,

My name is Victoria, I am 19 years old and I have autism. I am raising funds for both the Heeling House service dog training program, and to satisfy my account balance with them. I am very excited to complete training with my service dog, Zara. During our training, Zara is helping me by reducing my severe anxiety and meltdowns, and to be part of my community. Any proceeds so generously donated here will be split 50% for the Heeling House’s amazing program and 50% to pay for part, or all of my $5,000 balance.

A little about me, my twin Rachel and I were diagnosed with autism at age two. I started autism therapies at an early age, and I love reading, dogs and art (theatre). I have significant struggles in the community. Behavior is a challenge at church, restaurants, libraries and just about anywhere. I even struggle going grocery shopping. I was recently turned down for a job opportunity at a farm, because I was not employment ready. I am hopeful that having Zara with me will reduce my anxiety in the community, allow me to get my first job and be part of society just like you.

The Heeling House’s staff and I are currently undergoing training with Zara. She is an amazing dog and I love her so much. The Heeling House spends about $35,000 training their dogs and I would love to give back to them too. Families are charged $12,000 for participating and matching with a trained service dog.

Please consider any donation amount to this amazing charity, and for my Heeling House account, so I can get Zara (and myself) fully trained. The funds for this fundraiser are going directly to the Heeling House’s GoFundMe account, so I am not handling any money.
