Hi! My name is Victoria Heitzmann, and I want to take the leap to record some songs that I have written during the summer.
I am a senior in high school with one month left until graduation, and I will be turning 18 in July. I am planning to study biochemistry at UC San Diego in the fall of 2021.
With so many milestones ahead of me, I hope to be able to achieve one of my biggest dreams: recording my music.
This is a project that I have been working on for a long time, and I am so excited to bring it to life! I have been writing music for almost 10 years, but I feel that I have really found my voice over the course of the pandemic.
Music has always been a fundamental pillar of my life, which has helped me overcome the challenges I have encountered so far. I hope I can inspire others with this album, and share the strength I have found in it.
I have created this GoFundMe to help with the costs of recording, mixing and so on. Releasing one song costs about 1,000 dollars, with the cost going down for each additional song, so that the length of my EP really depends on you (with the limiting factor of time, since I will only be recording over the summer)! I may also need housing, which would be an extra 1,000-2,000 dollars.
I should be releasing my EP on Spotify, Apple Music, and other platforms by the winter.
I will be extremely grateful for any contributions. As I said, this is very important to me, and every donation matters! Even 5 dollars can make a big difference.
