Help Victoria and Sal Rebuild!

Hello,

My name is Michelle, and I am fundraising for my dear friends: Victoria and Sal. Just 10 months ago, they relocated to Cape Coral, Florida, to fulfill a lifelong dream of living near the coast while planning for their future retirement. Hurricane Ian, a once in a 500- year storm, unexpectedly turned course with a direct hit to Fort Meyers/Cape Coral. There was no way to prepare for the ferocity of this storm. The storm's flood waters were filled with sewage, oil, dead animals, and disease! It destroyed the walls, floors, cabinets, appliances, and furniture in their home. Their car is totaled. The winds uprooted all of their landscaping and wrecked their roof. Most of their personal effects, clothes, linens, etc., must be replaced. Many of their most precious valuables: their photographs, mementos, and keepsakes of their children can never be replaced. Victoria and Sal’s home must be rebuilt from the studs to ensure it is safe to live in. They have insurance which will help, but they must navigate separate homeowners, flood, and car insurance policies. Each has its own deductible, and all personal items (furniture, etc.) are excluded from coverage.

Victoria and Sal are two of the hardest working people I have ever met! Sal just launched a new business upon moving to Florida. They are generous to a fault, and have always helped family and friends in need. They give back to their community by supporting numerous causes. Even now, they ask people to support local charities helping the victims of Hurricane Ian on their social media. Many have reached out to them to ask how they can help. Well, I am asking for people to donate to this fund to help Victoria and Sal rebuild their lives and dreams. All donations will go directly to Victoria and Sal, and are preferred over gift cards due to supply chain issues impacting big box stores. Victoria and Sal will use these funds to patronize local businesses so that those Mom and Pop shops can also rebuild. Any small amount helps! Thank you.
