Help Victoria after losing both Parents.

I’ve never done this before so bear with me. I think we are all still in shock. We lost Diane Flowers less than 3 months ago to cancer unexpectedly. My dear friend and coworker...my once a month “girls night out” partner.

She left behind a husband of 20 years Romi and beautiful 13 year old baby girl Victoria.     Romi was devastated and was grieving terribly. Romi kept telling me he had to get Victoria from Ohio to Az where his family lived (Father and stepmother) just in case he had a heart attack or a stroke. Every time he would say that, I would say shut up or stop that you are too young! Never thought much about that...caught up on grief. 

Well they made it to Arizona, been there maybe a month....and Romi had a stroke on Friday and passed away Sunday, May 3rd. It’s unreal!! And Victoria is the one who called me....First call...Papas had a stroke and been airlifted to Phoenix. Next call he is brain dead and Victoria very calmly says Koni....Papas gone to be with Mama.

My heart is shattered. Many people’s hearts are shattered for this little girl. Romi died of a broken heart.And he knew he couldn’t make it without Diane so he made sure to get her to his family before his body gave in to his heart. 

A lot of people asked me if they can help and so I met Victoria’s very sweet half brother over messaging to make sure it was ok with the family. This money will go into account for Victoria for whatever she needs, when she needs it. This baby lost her mom and dad in a 3 month period of time. We need to become her village.
