On August 29, 2025, our beloved Victor Huguez was on his way home from work when his life changed in an instant. Without warning, a vehicle cut him off on the freeway, causing a devastating motorcycle accident.
By the grace of God, Victor is alive, but he has suffered extensive injuries that require multiple surgeries. He broke his collar bone, shoulder, arm, wrist, hand, and finger, and also sustained a spinal fracture. The pain is overwhelming, and the recovery will be long and difficult.
Victor has always been a hard worker, dedicated Full time caregiver to his wife while she's recovering from cancer.
Victor is proud to stand strong alongside his Local 300 Union Brothers. To be unable to work during this time is not only physically painful but spiritually devastating for him.
Victor needs the support of his community more than ever. While he focuses on healing, we are asking for any donations to help cover his medical expenses and basic living costs during this difficult journey.
Victor is grateful for every prayer, word of encouragement, and act of kindness. Your generosity will not only help relieve some of the financial strain but will also give him strength and hope as he fights to recover.
* A Message from Victor *
"I thank God every day that I am still here. This accident has shaken me to my core, but I am determined to heal and return back to work as soon as possible with my Union Brothers.
As difficult as it is for me to admit!
I cannot do this alone. Every prayer, every donation, and every kind word means more to me than I can ever explain. From the bottom of my heart, Thank you for helping me through this difficult time." – Victor Huguez
