My name is Nick McAdam. I have worked with Victor Gibbs for 7 years now and consider him family. As you know, Hurricane Melissa has recently devastated the island of Jamaica and has left the residents homeless, hungry, and vulnerable. Our union brother Victor Gibbs was born and raised on the island and his family has been deeply affected by this storm. As of now, the majority of the island is left without power and has extremely limited resources. His family, as well as many other families in Jamaica, are navigating this peculiar situation the best that they can, but this will be a very long recovery and they need as much help as possible. Victor is one of the most selfless/loving people that I know and I am putting this together in hopes to ease the burden on his family. Any donations will be put towards providing canned goods, flashlights, and simple day-to-day items like toothbrushes and toothpaste. Any amount is MUCH appreciated and I will also have a collection bin for canned goods (tuna, chicken, vegetables), flashlights, etc., located on-site at the BCH main campus.
