Hi, my name is Elia and I am Victor’s sister. I wanted to share his story because this past year has been incredibly tough for him and our family. After months of pain and uncertainty, Victor was finally diagnosed with a colovesical fistula, which is an abnormal connection between the colon and urinary bladder. Although these are uncommon, they can cause significant health problems, affect quality of life, and even become life-threatening if not treated. In Victor’s case, the fistula has caused him a great deal of pain and discomfort, making everyday life a struggle.

While some people can recover with conservative treatment, Victor’s doctors have determined that surgery is necessary for him to heal. He has already endured so much, and now faces the challenge of paying for this critical procedure. Even with insurance, Victor will have to pay a large amount out of pocket. On top of this, he is a devoted father to a 5-year-old and is very family-oriented. His greatest wish is to get better so he can be healthy for himself and his loved ones.

We are hoping to raise enough money to help cover Victor’s surgery and provide some financial relief during his recovery.
