Help Victor Contreras recover from heart surgery

Victoriano Contreras is a loving father, husband, grandfather, and an active member of the Mesilla and Las Cruces community. He has been experiencing medical hardships and needs help.

Victor was hospitalized 4 weeks ago with several serious medical issues, including sepsis, a series of mini strokes, blood clots, and heart blockages in three arteries. He was flown by medivac to Cleveland Clinic and is waiting to receive coronary artery bypass surgery. The ICU, extended hospital stay, and transportation services have taken a financial toll on the family. His wife, Virginia Contreras, has been out of work while caring for Victor, far away from her support system in New Mexico.

We don’t yet know how much longer Victor will need to be hospitalized, and even after he leaves the hospital, he’ll need extensive rehabilitation to regain the strength he lost while he’s been sick.

While we don’t yet know how expensive all of this treatment will be, it will undoubtedly present a severe hardship on Victor and Vicky. The Contreras family is looking for $20,000 in order to help offset all of the out of pocket expenses that have and will continue to accrue.
