It is with heavy hearts that we share the heartbreaking news that Victor passed away peacefully last night.

Despite his incredible strength and the tireless efforts of his medical team at MD Anderson Cancer Center, his journey came to an end sooner than we had hoped.

We are profoundly grateful for every donation, prayer, message, and act of love you shared during this time. Your support meant more to Victor and to our family than we can ever fully express. Knowing that so many people were standing with him gave us comfort and strength during the most difficult days.

The funds raised will now be used to help cover Victor's funeral and memorial expenses as we bring him home to El Paso to be laid to rest. Today, my son Victor made the incredibly difficult decision to enter hospice care after a long and courageous battle with leukemia. He has been receiving treatment at MD Anderson in Houston, and at this time, his one true wish is to come home.

Due to his condition, the only way Victor can travel safely is by medical air transport to El Paso. A severe septic infection has taken over his body, and he can no longer sustain further treatment. What matters most to him now is being home, surrounded by love and family.

We are working as quickly as possible to make this happen. A close friend who works with Hospice El Paso has been contacted and is helping guide us through this process, but the logistics and costs of a medical transfer are significant.

We are asking first and foremost for prayers, that the arrangements fall into place, and that Victor can make it home. Any support, whether through prayers, sharing this page, or donations, means more than words can express. Thank you for standing with our family during this heartbreaking time.
