My dear friends Victor Teran and Ruby Wendell lost everything in the Eaton Fire. They bought this home last year, in a community that they adored. Their boys, Julian and Elliott, were already in school in the neighborhood, so the move was so perfect. When you hear the stories of Altadena, know they are true - the neighborhood love and the sense of community is real.

Victor and Ruby have been the truest of friends to me for over 20 years, unwaveringly there for their friends in the good times and the hard times.
